“The First Home Owners Grant Scheme is a joint Federal & State Government initiative designed to assist first home buyers.
N.S.W State Government also offers “First Home Plus” which allows customers to purchase a property (excluding vacant land) up to $500,000, free of stamp duty. Between $500,000 and $600,000 a sliding scale reduction is in place.
Furthermore vacant land to the value of $300,000 is exempt on stamp duty. Between $300,000 and $450,000 a sliding scale reduction is in place.
